Buying Power for Good: State Government Procurement 101 for Social Enterprises

Does your organization struggle to increase the impact of your mission because of limited purchases of your services and products? Do you wonder how to connect with the State of Minnesota and its procurement process to grow your programs?

For social enterprises to succeed, they must have purchasers of their services and products. When a social enterprise develops a purchasing relationship with a government agency, both partners benefit.

This session provides direct access to the Assistant Director of the State’s procurement program who will share details on the state’s procurement process, how to sign up to be a vendor with the state, and how to apply for specific projects with the state.

After this session, please join the networking happy hour which will feature a member fair including member table displays and even a few items for sale to help us learn about the impact of SEA members in the community.
